Experience the incredible power of water at close quarters: With a drop of 380 metres, the Krimml Waterfalls are the highest waterfall in Europe and the 5th highest in the world. Pure spectacle of nature. The Krimmler Ache forms the source of the Krimml Waterfalls. It begins at the end of the Krimml Achental and first flows gently through approx. 20 km of flat alpine pastures before reaching the end of the valley as a roaring glacial stream and plunging down the mighty steps of the Krimml Waterfalls. The waterfall trail offers numerous viewpoints and lookouts.
The power of the Krimml Waterfalls is good for the immune system and allergy sufferers. Doctors in the region already knew about the healing power 200 years ago, and now scientific research has proven it. The Krimml Waterfalls have been recognised by the Salzburg provincial government as a natural healing resource for allergy and asthma sufferers!
The heart of the inhalation therapy is the daily stay close to the Krimml waterfall. The therapy is all the more effective and sustainable the longer it is carried out. We therefore recommend therapy packages of 14 days or 21 days.
If you cannot take that long off, we also offer a health week for 7 days. During our supervision times at the therapy place, we provide you with seat pillows, inform you about the inhalation therapy and the correct behaviour at the therapy place.
