Museum Bramberg

History back to the 14th century

Even from the outside, the Bramberg Museum is a real gem. It is housed in a Pinzgau farmhouse, which is one of the oldest farms in the village. After all, it dates back to the 14th century. But not only from the outside, but also from the inside, the Museum Bramberg is a real pearl.

In 1979, the museum was opened and the rich collection of Prof. Hans Hönigschmied quickly found approval. In 2002, the museum even received the internationally recognised “Museum Seal of Quality”.

There is a lot to discover in the museum, a wide range of different but highly interesting things: For example, an alpine mineral department with over 500 exhibits, a rich section of bees, cupboards and chests from the 17th to 19th centuries, perchten, vehicles, a shoemaker’s repair shop and much more!

Folk culture, religious art and rural crafts are the focus of the Museum Bramberg! Explore this varied museum!
