Uttendorf is an archaeological site: There were already very early settlements here – as early as the end of the early Bronze Age. It can also be proven that there were settlements here from the Hallstatt period to late antiquity.
No wonder, then, that numerous pieces of amber jewellery have been found here. Glass beads, ceramic vessels and fittings were also discovered here during excavations. All these findings make Uttendorf a place of supra-regional archaeological significance.
A guided tour of the prehistoric Celtic village of Utttendorf is therefore definitely worthwhile, as these tours provide a comprehensive and highly exciting insight into the world of the Celts, their customs, rituals and mythology.
