Our Hotel Gassner is one of the hiking hotels with five mountain crystals and excellent ratings on international hotel forums. The HolidayCheck Award 2024 and the Leading Spa Award 2024 for Salzburg speak for themselves.
Our Hotel Gassner 4 star superior is located in Neukirchen am Großvenediger in the Wildkogel Arena – in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park vacation region. The fantastic nature invites you to various activities and all start directly in front of the hotel. In the warm season it is mainly the hikers and mountaineers , in winter the cross-country skiers, snowshoe hikers, tourers, tobogganers and of course the skiers who enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
For this, the possibilities between the Wildkogel Arena (75 km of slopes, insider tip on skiresort.de), Kitzbüheler Alpen and Zillertal Arena (together 322 km of slopes) are nearly limitless.
We, the siblings Sonja and Hans-Peter Gassner are incredibly pleased that our hotel is one of the eight best hiking hotels with five mountain crystals in the entire Alpine region. A good online reputation has our family-run house since the beginning.
It has currently been awarded the HolidayCheck Award 2024 on HolidayCheck with 6 out of 6 points and 100 percent recommendations. The Hotel Gassner is also particularly delighted to have received the Leading Spa Award for Salzburg for the second time.
Whether it’s pushing you outside in this incredibly snowy winter, pulling your lengths in the Blausee water in the over 1,200 m² Crystal- und Garden SPA, or letting landlord Hans-Peter Gassner cook you up with the best ingredients from his own farm in a down-to-earth-innovative way. After all, the good grades have to be earned.
