Reviews and awards that simply make us happy.
Award winning
An honest review is at least as valuable to us as your trust in choosing to spend the best days of the year with us. If you’ve recently enjoyed a wonderful holiday at Hotel Gassner and would like to take a few minutes to leave a personal review, we’d really appreciate it.
Your recommendation helps many future guests make their decision – and we too can grow and continue to develop from shared experiences. It is precisely this feedback that contributes to our awards and encourages us to continue living by our philosophy and values.
Live sustainably, enjoy mindfully
Certified
eco-label hotel
We have been awarded the Austrian Ecolabel and the EU Ecolabel; sustainability, quality and environmental protection are firmly embedded in our values. Mindful observation and a respectful approach to nature are, for us, not a duty but a way of life.
We strengthen regional partners in agriculture, crafts and trade by keeping supply chains short and cycles fair. Home-made products – from the herb garden to our own hunting – bring genuine regional flavour to the table. Our water sources, heating, electricity supply (including photovoltaics), and waste separation are as resource-efficient as possible.
You too can make a contribution: skip room cleaning and we'll plant a tree in return. A small sacrifice that makes a big difference. With the National Park Summer Card, you can also travel sustainably – simply leave the car behind and discover the region in an environmentally friendly way. It doesn't get much more relaxing.
