For over 75 years, we have loved setting the table for our guests and awakening their senses with the finest cuisine. While you roll over and go back to sleep, swim a few lengths in the indoor pool or relax in the sauna, behind the scenes the tables are lovingly laid, the buffet is prepared and in the kitchen everything is given a final seasoning. When you’re ready, so are we - ready for a culinary break and that really good feeling in your tummy.

Time to be seduced by culinary delights:

  • Breakfast buffet from 07:30 – 10:30
  • Lunchtime à la carte from 11:30 - 13:00
  • Dinner from 18:00 – 20:00
  • Hotel bar from 14:30 – until late

A feast for all the senses

Hotel manager Hans-Peter Gassner, master chef Gregor and the entire team deliver genuine flavour and fine moments of indulgence day after day. The focus is on what grows in the region: herbs from our own garden, game from our in-house hunt, crusty bread from Schroll bakery, meat and sausage products from the Rumpold and Schöppl butchers. We source fresh fish from the Grundner family in Leogang, and milk and cheese products from Pinzgau Milch in Maishofen. 

We also make many delicacies ourselves – from the breakfast jams at the buffet and syrups to herb salt and little souvenirs to take home. Good food is, for us, far more than mere hotel cuisine – it is a touch of joie de vivre, the perfection of something very simple, an expression of respect, creativity and meaningfulness.

Gassner’s Culinary Indulgence

In summer, start your day with high-quality, local and homemade products from the breakfast buffet – and, if you like, enjoy them wonderfully close to nature on our sun terrace. Choose between a daily hikers’ packed lunch or a served lunchtime snack, and look forward to a fine five-course dinner menu. Non-alcoholic drinks (mountain spring water, fruit and soft drinks, speciality coffees and tea) are available free of charge until 17:00. For children, the juice bar is included even until 8 pm; the dinner menu is lovingly tailored to the little ones.

A sumptuous breakfast spread that nourishes body and soul – and, in the evening, a fine menu that rounds off the day in style – provide genuine moments of indulgence in winter as part of our half board package. With fresh salads, cheese and ice cream from the buffet, a wide selection of Austrian wines as the perfect accompaniment to dinner, and a genuine smile, our Gassner cuisine is perfected.

Your table in the restaurant has already been firmly reserved – and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. On warm days, you can also take a seat on our sun terrace – with glorious views and perhaps the loveliest spot for your first coffee of the morning or a leisurely dinner outdoors. Just ask our staff; they’ll be happy to show you to your table.

Before, after, or even in between, our bar with its cosy living room invites you to linger. For us, a relaxed get-together over a glass of wine or an inventive cocktail is simply part of the experience. Here you'll find space for encounters, conversations – and little moments of indulgence in between.
