The Gassner family – your hosts at Hotel Gassner 4-Star Superior
Hello, we're Sonja and Hans-Peter Gassner. Siblings, hosts – and on first-name terms with our guests. Together with our families and our Gassner team, we’re wholeheartedly here for you in person - because it creates a sense of closeness and makes your time with us at Hotel Gassner simply feel more welcoming.

We, Sonja and Hans-Peter, run Hotel Gassner in Neukirchen as siblings in the third generation.
Sonja – charming and reliable at reception or behind the scenes.
Hans-Peter – creative in the kitchen or out in nature. We are often asked why one of us doesn't do it alone. It’s quite simple. Because when there are two of you, you always have an extra opinion, we balance each other wonderfully in many ways and complement each other perfectly.
But since the whole family mucks in anyway, for us it’s less about hierarchy and more about being. About being there – for one another as a family and for our guests. So it can also happen that our youngest – Sophie – answers the phone, or Grandma Renate is standing in the doorway with a watering can and a gardening fork.
While young people head beyond the country’s borders to return home with fresh perspectives, we pass on the wealth of knowledge gained over more than 75 years as the Gassner host family to the next generation - our apprentices and staff.

The many wonderful people who make our house a home.
As the Gassner-Seilschaft, we are the perfect complement, for we could hardly be any more different. Together with our wonderful employees, we bring plenty of warmth, charm and life into the house. That’s probably why so many things here are so individual and diverse. We are lucky – many of them have been by our side for years and are just as passionate hosts as we are. This sense of connection fills us – both as hosts and as an employer – with gratitude and genuine joy. It's lovely to have you all with us.
